The goals was to create an empathetic brand as well as an intuitive interface for effortless end-of-life-planning while incorporating gamification.
Overview
For a client project at Generate, my team worked on the development of Legacy. Our focus centered on crafting the user interface and branding elements for this mobile-based app. Legacy simplifies legal, financial, and emotional aspects, generating customized plans and breaking them into manageable tasks. Legacy aims to democratize end-of-life planning by overcoming barriers and making the process inclusive and compassionate. Tailored for millennials, the platform not only transforms lives today but also creates a meaningful legacy for future generations. I worked as both a Software Designer (UX / UI) and a Brand Designer for the purposes of this project. As a Senior Designer, I spearheaded the efforts of designing the brand identity.
Takeaways
Blending empathy with contemporary tones initially seemed like a potential source of conflict. However, as I delved into the process, I developed a deep appreciation for how the subtle details can significantly influence the overall tone of the application. These details are more than just pixels; each one carries weight and contributes to the overall impact.
